Crew Chief - Set pettersson (age 41)
Lives together with Birgitta and two children in Röstånga in the
south of Sweden. Works daily at a service company with pneumatics, electronics
and computers. Brother of Carl.
Racing history:
Started with dragracing –87 when he bought the TimeLord (a Triumph blowerbike)
from Hobbs, England. After a few other Triumphs he joined the Beast team –92.
From the beginning he shared the riding with Per, now he acts crew chief in
the team.
Clutch, Cylinder and Data expert - Jan Lindström (Age 39)
Lives single in a big house in Klippan, Sweden.
Racing history:
Joined the Beast team in 1997. Since Jan joined the team the results has become
much more stable. Works especially with the clutch, cylinder head and storing
data at the races.
Miscellaneous:
Makes his living as a manager at a Volvo workshop. Trained
car and motorcycle mechanic. Monkeybike and El Camino freak.
Team Manager and beast rider - Per Bengtsson (Age 49)
Lives:
Near Klippan together with Christina and two boys, Alex 16 and Victor 13.
The family often joins the races and Christina helps with sponsor contacts,
travelling and catering.
Racing history:
Built his first dragbike 1978, a nitro injected Norton
which ended in a ‘big bang’.The first Triumph blowerbike was build –80 and
after several Triumphs with various successes he´s still owner of an old John
Clift bike (Chain Reaction), parked raceready at the workshop. After 14 years
with only parallel twins it was natural to start design the “Beast”, now the
World’s fastest parallel twin. European Champion 1999 and 2003.

Per is one of the owners of BENTEC and also the Manager of a new graphic company,

Bodywork and Paint specialist - Carl Pettersson (age 46)
Lives:
lives in Röstånga, Sweden, with wife Marie, two daughters. Brother of Set.
Racing history:
Started with dragracing –77 together with former “Beast”
teammate Lars ”Putte” Tydinger, with a supercharged Norton dragbike. 1980 a
double Norton was built with running injection and nitro with no big success.
After a few years with trikes and car projects he joined the Beast team -92
with welding the first frame. Carl has mainly been working with bodywork and
painting.
Miscellaneous:
Works part time with compiling and manufacturing graphic systems at Bentec and
at home in his work shop at HB Tecno.
