Another step into the fives

Sverre Dahl will in association with Bentec Engineering this season be making a serious attempt on being the first bike in Europe under 6 seconds. Sverre, who so far has been using Banter’s ’small” gear box SS when racing (best time 6.14 / 237.9 km/h), will be the first to try Bentec’s latest product development, REX. REX is a new super sprag perfectly integrated with Bentec’s Magnum transmission and will be used on Sverre´s ‘Sunshine Express’ all season.

Per Bengtsson, owner of Bentec and also a drag bike racer says: -’If the trials are successful we will be able to offer this update for all our Magnum customers in a near future. Sverre is one of few who actually have been able to push the limits of our SS gear box and he is therefore very suitable for trying the new REX super sprag. I only hope there will be tracks in Europe able to take all the power cause then Sverre will definitely be into the fives’.
